As a Caretaker, you are an on-site guardian with year-round commitment to the health and wellbeing of the Farmastery. You and your fellow Caretakers provide the continuity in structure and practice that make the Farmastery more than just a farm. As you tend the land, season after season, it comes to know you deeply. Your efforts are seeds from which the Farmastery experience will sprout, for this generation and the ones to come.
One caretaker told us: ‘I realized the land knew my footsteps. Every path I walked became part of the place’s memory.’ That’s the essence of caretaking here: your daily presence becomes a kind of living archive.
